I felt quite lost because I could not pinpoint my decorating aesthetic. Should it be traditional, classic, modern, country farmhouse, beach cottage, or shabby chic?
There were so many choices…

After discovering numerous home decor blogs {some favorites are in my sidebar}, the worry about fitting a specific decor “style” vanished. Instead, I began simply noting what brought me joy.

I began compiling an “inspiration file,” which has become a vital part of my creative process, always used before starting any project.
Here are some sources where I discover my inspiration (and you can too!):

3. Your wardrobe

While design style remains a captivating subject, I no longer stress over a rigid definition of mine. The reality is, I appreciate seeing people bravely mix elements.
Blend the traditional with a touch of shabby.
Incorporate a bit of modern into the country farmhouse.
If you love the final result~
It is perfect for you!
