Seeking companionship?
I have been earnestly praying for friends for quite some time and haven't ceased. I don't require a massive social circle constantly gathering; a small group of steadfast friends is perfectly sufficient for my nature.
I must acknowledge that God has consistently provided ideal friends for every period of my life. Some connections have naturally ended for various reasons, which I consider normal. Yet, certain friendships have endured through challenging and easy times, for which I feel immense gratitude.
Many years ago, God introduced one such friend into my world. Her age was irrelevant then, and remains so today; however, our birthdates show she is approximately 10 years my senior. I frequently remind myself that despite her seniority, she surpasses me in many ways!!
She entered my life when I was truly longing for a friend. The bond developed organically, and even now, after all these years, we remain friends; she continues to impart life wisdom without even realizing it.
