The process unfolded in this manner:
Preparing for an upcoming journey meant I had to
1. Head down the stairs to the basement and into the furthest area to retrieve a suitcase from a corner covered in cobwebs.
2. Ascend 2 flights of stairs to the bedroom and gather all the necessary apparel.
3. Descend one flight of stairs to the entryway dresser and locate a cosmetic bag, which might be mixed with some gift wrapping materials.
4. Enter the Dining Room closet and search the basket of travel sized essentials to find what was required.
5. Return upstairs to pack your make-up and blow dryer.
That was it.
I was then prepared to start the rush… (Woo Hoo!)
After minimal deliberation, I'm pleased to share that travel preparation is now significantly easier! {Hallelujah!}
This is the straightforward, time-saving method that made things simpler.
1. Clearing out and organizing our clothing left one bedroom cupboard completely bare. Conveniently, our bags fit into it perfectly! {Plus, no cobwebs!:}
{Incidentally…That lovely red suitcase was a gift from Mr. Claus!!;)}
2. Utilizing a budget Ikea drawer organizer, all the travel sized items are now in the walk in closet dresser alongside the travel cosmetic bags.
No more descending stairs and rummaging through a basket!
I employed small labels to categorize each item type, which assists in remembering to include specific things.
Now everything required for traveling is easily accessible near the packing spot. It's wonderfully less complicated!!
