This week features a collection of wall decorations, starting with the Striped and Layered Photo Frame.

I particularly appreciate picture frames that incorporate varied matting and textures. After considering several choices, my main concern was how to secure the uppermost layer while ensuring simple picture replacement.
This approach provided a swift and uncomplicated fix.
I applied paint to the wooden component following the instructions provided, opting for stripes on the top layer this time (Painter’s tape is very useful for achieving this).
Additionally, I transformed an inexpensive Ikea wooden frame I possessed. A single coat of white paint, followed by a stain wipe-on and wipe-off, was all it took.
After complete drying, I determined the picture's center point and secured a small nail onto the wood.

Subsequently, I suspended the frame on the nail, utilizing the pre-attached hanger.

It remains another simple and fast endeavor.
