I extend my sincere gratitude for the thoughtful feedback shared on the post concerning my mother; while intended as a personal remembrance, the reader reception surpassed all my previous writing, so thank you for your kindness, which truly touched me. I regret not responding to every comment individually due to time constraints, and my thoughts are with anyone navigating or has navigated the challenges of dementia alongside a loved one.
It is Saturday, and I resolved to remain at home to engage in cleaning, laundry, rearranging, and generally beautifying my space.

However, my thoughts remain preoccupied with the activities at the camp kitchen.
There are numerous things I wish to accomplish.
within my residence.
and in the kitchen.
and across this Bildirimlerim blog.
While managing fruit flies and spider webs, I imagined myself as a whirling dervish.

This prompted me to consider the meaning of the phrase, “What exactly is a whirling dervish?”
Consequently, I researched the term:
whirling dervish – a dervish whose movements involve ecstatic whirling and dancing
Perhaps that is not my ideal state after all! (Also, what precisely is a “dervish”??)
What I truly desire is to possess abundant physical vigor, energy, and the capacity to manage everything.
A persistent sore in the back of my throat suggests I might have picked up my husband’s post-summer cold {Thanks, Darlin!}
It seems I cannot achieve everything after all.
What a letdown.

Nevertheless, I am enthusiastic about several emerging ideas; I always envisioned this blog as a genuine expression of my thoughts and ongoing endeavors.
Therefore, I plan to share my “camp cook journey” with you all.
Despite my strong interests in crafting, interior design, and organization, I am also very excited about this new culinary segment of my life.
For the moment, Irwin has prepared a wonderfully fragrant Montana Coffee Traders Crème Brule coffee.
It is time for a coffee pause!:)

*The unusual photo showing a fly in a jar illustrates my fruit fly trap attempt. It is successful! I located this online but cannot retrieve the source now. Essentially, it requires a half-jar of apple cider vinegar (specifically that type), a small amount of dawn dish soap, and filling the remainder with water. The vinegar attracts the flies, while the bubbles effectively “trap” them. It is brilliant!!
**Even though doorknobs are not the most aesthetically pleasing item, the one shown is beautiful to my eye. After a month without a doorknob on our main bathroom, having one back feels wonderfully luxurious!:)
