Today's update for Bildirimlerim doesn't have one single focus, as there are no recent before and after projects available. Instead, I've been juggling numerous tasks recently:
1. I am compiling a small series for the blog, and it is nearly finished; I am incredibly eager to share it. {Check back soon for the reveal.}
2. To prepare for this upcoming mini-series, I dedicated 2 days to creating a banner/button within Photoshop.
3. Collaborating with Photoshop is a gradual, somewhat laborious undertaking.
4. While reviewing various tutorials, I found a very useful video demonstrating how to achieve a transparent image background.
5. The narrator in the video sounded like a 12 year old boy.
6. He ought to produce a complete Photoshop series, given his teaching ability.
7. I have been admiring the photography of others, such as this picture from A Beach Cottage:
{Image from A Beach Cottage}
8. I appreciate its bright, sharp quality combined with a soft, ethereal feel.
9. My aspiration is to capture images with a similar aesthetic.
10. I actually sent an email to the talented creator at A Beach Cottage to request advice.
11. Subtly, I hoped she employed an advanced Photoshop action for that look...
12. However, it turns out the quality stems purely from excellent photography!
13. Her suggestion was to consult my camera manual and increase the 'brightness' during editing.
14. Nevertheless, I was already interested in finding a new Photoshop action~
15. Therefore, I obtained Velvet Cream from The Coffeeshop Blog.
16. This site is a fantastic source for complimentary Photoshop actions and textures.
17. Velvet Cream transformed this image:
into this:
18. Thursdays are something I look forward to every week because I assist my friend with her home. Last week, our work was in her laundry room. While working on the wall above her sink counter, washer, and dryer, I climbed on and off the countertop over a dozen times.
19. I realized this provided a superior workout compared to any 'Buns of Steel' video I have ever done!! {And it was much more enjoyable!}
20. My husband and I recently attempted to film a video tutorial for a crafting project.
21. I hesitate to share it because I worry it might cause seasickness!
22. A renovation is currently underway for this space.
23. Nevertheless, the whole experience brought us immense amusement.
24. The segment I enjoy the most is the compilation of mistakes.
25. I realized yesterday that when I labeled it, I mistakenly wrote “Blopper reel,” which is quite amusing!
Wishing everyone a joyful Tuesday from Bildirimlerim!
