I previously shared a guest post on Satori Design for Living by Shaunna, but I mistakenly scheduled it for today on Bildirimlerim, so here it is now. Also, during Shaunna's "Design Challenge," I learned about Olioboard, which I detailed previously. Have a delightful Saturday!

Shaunna's design challenge has been a truly enjoyable experience; she provided three headboards and asked me to select one to design a complete room around.
1. The Alta Headboard from Serena & Lily
2. Scrolled and Tufted Headboard acquired at Decorator Tag Sale
3. Pavillion Headboard manufactured by Zinc Door
I selected the Alta Headboard by Serena & Lily. Its classic aesthetic, featuring nail head detail, captivated me, especially with the vast selection of lovely fabrics and patterns. My goal was to design a bedroom I would adore without financial constraints, which is so much fun! My ideal space would be classic, warm, and rustic, with just a touch of sparkle. Since I envision this dream bedroom with ocean views through large windows, I've named this concept “Beach Cottage Bling”.
When complemented by soft white linens and relaxed striped sheets, the wheat linen Alta headboard becomes the focal point. Naturally, a beautiful, shimmering chandelier above would further emphasize this!
I can easily picture myself unwinding on a Sunday afternoon in that cozy chair, wrapped in a lovely throw blanket, enjoying a book and coffee.
I appreciate the current wallpaper selections, and this particular option introduces a charming pattern and texture. Alternatively, to achieve a similar look affordably, a stencil like this can be used, which I recently applied to my entryway!
Incorporating accents in dark chocolate brown and black brings warmth and character to the space, while the aqua blue found in the rug, pillows, and throw provides the ideal burst of seaside color.

My sincere thanks to Shauna for granting me this chance to design a dream room!
