Previously, I shared a period in my home creation journey marked by swinging between hesitation and hasty decisions.
It was certainly a hectic phase of my life!
I struggled for a while, making incremental changes with inconsistent outcomes; for instance, I chose beige for our Living Room, mirroring what seemed popular.

My initial goal was to create a welcoming environment for others, yet I disliked the color from the start, and two years later, my husband shared that feeling!
A significant shift occurred during a typical day when a single computer mouse click led me to The Lettered Cottage, coinciding with Layla and Kevin renovating their kitchen.
I became completely captivated.
Via Layla and Kevin's blog, I found other sites and an exciting realm of inspiration for transforming a structure into a cherished home; I grasped that deviating from the norm was acceptable.

In fact, this is beneficial! Your home styling does not need external direction; while tracking yearly trends is enjoyable (as I do), final decisions must stem from your personal affection.
This is when your house transforms into something distinctive...
...and subsequently feels like home.
