Transform your television into a stylish frame display using free frame tv art from YouTube!
Our adult children repeatedly mentioned how much better a frame tv would look in our living area.
We agree with the aesthetic appeal, yet we aren't ready to spend on a sleek flat frame tv mounted like fine artwork!
Currently, we are content relaxing on our LaZboy sofa each evening, enjoying seasons of When Calls the Heart or Hallmark Christmas movies! (Perhaps I enjoy them slightly more than my husband.;))
However, I recently found a solution that completely changed things: you can repurpose any tv as a “frame tv” with complimentary frame tv art available on YouTube. It was quite surprising.
Though our small tv doesn't match the scale of magazine displays, observe it above—it's showing lovely vintage art I sourced from YouTube! Isn't that clever?
Why are frame tvs so popular?
There are two main reasons frame tvs resonate with many individuals:
- They sit flush against the wall, conserving space and being less visually disruptive in a room.
- When not displaying art, you can project an image so it appears as art instead of a plain black screen.
Many people place their tv above a mantle, and a frame tv perfectly merges tv functionality with artistic beauty!
Now, those without an 'official' frame tv can utilize this simple trick to enjoy beautiful art on their existing screens.
Here is the method:
How to Utilize Free Frame TV Art
- If your tv system has a built-in YouTube application, it's straightforward! Access 'apps' via your remote and select YouTube. Alternatively, if you have a smart tv and a mobile device capable of casting, select your desired frame tv art from YouTube and cast it to the tv.
- Keep track of the duration for each tv art screensaver; many last 2 hours, but I've seen some running up to 7 hours.
- Be prepared to watch an initial advertisement; simply wait until the 'skip ad' option appears.
- If the free frame tv art runs for only a few hours, I suggest muting your tv. I neglected this, and hearing the sudden loud sound while working quietly at home was quite startling!! (tee hee)
