Seriously—November already? Where did the year go? I just counted: only 8 more weeks until Christmas. With the holidays approaching, I’m delighted to join a festive “My Favorite Things” stocking stuffer giveaway alongside some of my fellow Sweet Tea & Saving Grace contributors. You could be one of the lucky winners of a curated set of my favorite IKEA kitchen items—an early Merry Christmas! Read on for what I picked and how to enter.

While I was at IKEA searching for storage solutions for our One Room Challenge, I also scoped out clever and affordable stocking stuffer ideas. I focused on kitchen items because most people spend time in the kitchen every day, and practical, well-designed kitchen gifts are both useful and appreciated. I picked things I use regularly and would love to give as small holiday surprises.
My Favorite IKEA Kitchen Finds for Stocking Stuffers
Pretty Napkins

IKEA has a great selection of affordable plain napkins, but their patterned napkins are what caught my eye. These soft, watery blue designs jumped into my cart instantly. They’re inexpensive, attractive, and make a small but thoughtful addition to a hostess gift or stocking.
Dish Towels

Confession: I was still using some really worn dish towels. Since dish towels are a daily-use item, a fresh, coordinated set feels like a tiny luxury. I chose a two-pack with plaid and floral motifs in matching tones—practical, pretty, and perfect for everyday use or a simple stocking stuffer idea.
Potholders

Raise your hand if you’re still using potholders from your bridal shower decades ago—guilty here. It was definitely time to replace my holey favorites with a new oversized gray set. New potholders are a practical, inexpensive gift that anyone who cooks will appreciate.
Decorative Plates and Accents
I fell in love with these delicate metal plates with a lacy edge the moment I saw them. They feel versatile and elegant—perfect for arranging candles, seasonal accents, or other small decorative items. For my display I used four vanilla-scented candles, but you could fill one with colored beans and a pillar candle, or pair it with decorative fruit or a small faux artichoke for texture.

These items are small, affordable, and easy to tuck into a stocking—or combine into a small kitchen-themed bundle. They’re the kind of simple, stylish gifts that feel thoughtful without being expensive, and they make great last-minute ideas for hostesses, neighbors, or friends.

As a holiday treat, I’m giving away a set of these favorite IKEA kitchen pieces so one reader can enjoy them too. To enter, follow the directions on the entry form below. The giveaway closes on Wednesday, November 9, and a winner will be selected at random. Good luck—and happy holiday shopping!
