I genuinely enjoy writing for Bildirimlerim, a journey that began when I tentatively published my initial piece on August 4, 2010. {Coincidentally, this marks both my approaching 2 year blog milestone and our 22nd wedding anniversary!!}

Every writer has a distinct origin narrative; some see swift growth while others progress gradually.
My path is singular as well; I only became aware of blogs shortly before starting mine. Honestly, I might not have possessed the courage to attempt it without my friend Kim guiding me through every stage. {A heartfelt thank you to Kim!}
Through this process, I met fellow bloggers who shared their journeys openly, turning them into my virtual mentorship sources. I wish to present my top 5 most valuable 'how to blog' series and insights I've gathered. I truly hope these assist newcomers or offer a needed lift to those already engaged ~
{Naturally, I couldn't skip photographs; most were captured during a recent Sunday night drive with my husband. He suggested, “Why not step away from the computer and take a drive with me?” {Refer to point 5 below…}}
1. Gail's series, titled “The Bold and the The Beautiful – Your Blog Reviewed,” was the first new blogger resource I found. I have detailed notes from that series, which also directed me to her informative article, “Blog Tips for New Bloggers” ~ both highly useful, and geared for the Blogger format I initially utilized.

2. Sarah from A Beach Cottage has published several articles on blogging advice under “Real Girl Blog Tips,” specifically offering “5 Blog Essentials.”

3. If your audience is expanding, you might consider monetization. While considering this, Crystal Paine’s free e-book, *How to Make Money Blogging* {www.moneysavingmom.com}, proved invaluable. I referenced it so often I printed a copy; the opening sections excellently detail the reality of blogging ~ and are perfect for those setting up their initial blog.

4. Infarrently Creative shares her 12-part blog narrative, accessible from this starting point. I discovered this when I needed significant encouragement and wisdom from an experienced blogger. I read all 12 parts consecutively; afterward, I sent her a thank you note, and she returned the most uplifting voice mail (I remain baffled by how she manages that!).

5. Having your spouse's encouragement is vital. Blogging can be quite time-intensive and occasionally compelling… Beth from Home Stories to A-Z’s article on *How to Blog-Proof Your Marriage* offers excellent guidance drawn from many successful bloggers.
When reviewing advice from established bloggers, a common theme emerges: many reiterate similar points using different phrasing, while others offer contrasting views. Employ careful judgment and select the counsel that aligns best with your personal goals and blog vision.
To those just entering the blogging sphere, I offer this encouragement: even prominent bloggers experience discouragement sometimes… and larger blogs will always exist. That is simply the nature of the platform.
Nevertheless, pursue your path and cherish the journey itself.
Enjoy Blogging!
