Sometimes beginning tasks feels like an internal struggle; the hesitation is often much longer than the actual work required.
To boost my motivation for starting, I sometimes set a specific time limit to see if I can complete a task within a set number of minutes.
While I won't sign up for a fitness class, I can move incredibly quickly when I focus on a specific goal!
I aimed to complete all the tasks in the Living Room that I was putting off within 20 minutes; this included vacuuming, dusting, and some rearranging.

Instead of showing dramatic before and afters, I suggest a 'spot the 5 differences' game. Are you prepared to try?

So, what was your score?
If you prefer not to play today, here are the correct answers:

1. We decided against the stencilled curtains, so the tranquil, white ones were reinstalled.
2. The dark brown chairs felt too heavy for the space, so my preferred smaller chairs returned.
3. The stump table was styled with a small Fall display.
4. Extra throws are placed on a table in the corner for cool mornings.

5. Additional blankets, magazines, and books are neatly stored beneath the coffee table.
{The entire process took around 25 minutes, which included searching the basement for the step stool to reach the curtains!}
6. Decorating the coffee table proved tricky and caused a slight delay; I prefer keeping it clear so the remote is accessible.

Which task are you postponing today? Although I'm not an expert, I believe you can finish it sooner than you anticipate!
