Discover a no sew ruffled bedskirt using 3 Ikea sheets
I never thought I was a fan of ruffles, but various images have persuaded me: ruffled table linens, curtains, bedspreads, and wonderfully soft ruffled bed skirts (one option costs $160.00!)
When updating my bedroom, the exposed wood bed frame felt wrong; I desired a ruffled bed skirt but dreaded sewing so much fabric. However, if you wish to try, I found this helpful collection of ruffle guides:

Creating a No Sew Ruffled Bedskirt
My technique is unconventional, perhaps even slightly awkward to admit... {Not actually!}

Materials Required:
- 3 twin sized flat sheets from Ikea
During a visit to Ikea's "as is" section, I acquired 4 of these for $2.00 each.

Initially, I wasn't sure of their exact nature; the fabric is light, yet "twin" is marked. I presume they are twin sheets, but I initially thought they might work for curtains.
Instead, they became my no sew ruffled bed skirt – in approximately 2 minutes.
Place one sheet on the bed and fold it so the top edge is 6 inches above the bottom edge.
Visualize this:

Fold it down again so the folded line sits about 6 inches above the second hemmed section.

This arrangement simulates the appearance of three "ruffle" sections.
Gently lift the folded sheet along the folded edge and tuck it beneath the mattress on one side. Adjust until it is evenly ruffled and the correct length.

Apply these same actions to the other side of the bed and the foot end.
A total of three sheets will be utilized ~one for each side and one for the foot.

It isn't flawless, but a touch of "shabby beachy chic" ~ is exactly what I adore. Since I tucked it under the mattress considerably, it seems secure. Occasional readjustment is needed, but it hasn't been troublesome so far. {A definite favorite! I dislike anything "fussy"!}
