Five Beloved Items Shared

Recently, I hosted a Favorite Things gathering with just 5 friends, and it was wonderfully enjoyable. For details about this event, please see my post here. Hearing what people cherish most always offers a delightful surprise, even among those I know well.

Following the theme of Favorite Things, I am sharing 5 personal favorites, all priced under $10. If you are seeking modest present suggestions for women in your life, this list might prove useful.

1. Vintage Dinnerware. I hold a fondness for sentimental items, and aged dishes possess a unique charm. These can be sourced from various locations like thrift stores, garage sales, or E-bay. I particularly look for dishes to serve non-food items, such as soap dishes, toothbrush holders, or holders for earrings and bracelets.

2. Soaking Salts. This is a recent pleasure of mine. I previously bought them in small containers but recently found a large bag of **Amber Vanilla Epsom Salts** for a lower cost, and the scent is incredible. You can portion this into attractive jars from the **Dollar Store** to easily prepare several gifts.

3. Premium Bar Soap. A friend mentioned she seeks high-quality soap because she noticed it lasts longer. My experience confirms this! Another shopper advised checking for soap originating from **France**, **Italy**, or the **US** for superior quality. While I lack confirmation, the advice seemed sound. I rely on my sense of smell, usually finding it at **Winners** or **Homesense**.

4. Lindt Dark Chocolate. This has been a recent sweet delight for me; my preferred flavor is **Orange**.

5. A Quality Magazine. Despite the abundance of online content on the internet and **Pinterest**, nothing compares to curling up with a good magazine by a fire. I appreciate the diverse projects and articles in **HGTV magazine**, and **Country Living** is another personal favorite.

It is now time for you to share—what are some of your cherished favorite things?
