In Canada, the current day proceeds normally; Thanksgiving was observed in October.

Because my heritage is American, my thoughts today drift toward Thanksgiving, wishing I could share turkey with my family at a table. These moments make me miss them intensely.
Occasionally, I manage to observe both Thanksgivings here, but this year is not one of those instances, much to my boys' disappointment. They always eagerly await another turkey dinner! Instead, I look forward to a lovely coffee visit with my American neighbor friend…
If you are celebrating Thanksgiving today, I wish you a wonderful and blessed day.

Separately, I found some amusing things last night that I must share.
The initial clip shows a gentleman witnessing a small mishap while leaving a voice message. His laughter is incredibly funny, coupled with his accent and descriptions like “the little lady that looks like Mother Goose,” plus noting the Bible as an “NVI” edition!!! (Note: He uses some mild profanity…)
Perhaps still chuckling about that video, I then found this tale at Thistlewood Farms and found it extremely funny.

Calling Kari Ann's Pinterest mishap a 'fail' is an understatement; I laughed so hard tears streamed down my face…
until I saw her reaction included tears.
Alas, the poor person.
I trust she is laughing now (since the idea of socks bursting from a washer is simply comical!)…
Ultimately, amidst a laundry room full of soap suds and exploding socks, she recognized much for which to be grateful.
This serves as a lesson for me as well.
Wishing you a joyful and thankful day, no matter your location!
