Simple Kitchen Wall Decor with Free Prints
Following our $159 small budget kitchen remodel, I sought a charming addition for above the stove.
I finally discovered the perfect solution.
Ashley from Handmade Home offered a free printable set featuring 3 charming vintage kitchen designs.

Her artwork impressed me, making it ideal for my kitchen, especially since her space was a source of inspiration for me.
Materials needed for this straightforward Above the Stove Wall Art
- Ashley's complimentary set of printables
- 4 picture frames, measuring 8 1/2 x 11
- Yellow acrylic craft paint
- A vintage kitchen utensil, such as a scoop or spoon (for the 4th frame)
Phase 1: Preparing the frames
I acquired 4 black frames with white mats for $8.00 while shopping; this idea had been on my mind.
The white mat's pinkish hue was not ideal, so I painted them a cheerful green.
After placing them in the black frames, they didn't look right, so I let them sit overnight.
This morning, while browsing a favored blog, I came across this inspiring image…

The bright yellow against the blue/gray walls was so appealing to me.
This was exactly what I needed to see; consequently, I used my acrylic craft paint to make all the frames yellow, and I added Grandma’s antique scoop to the bottom one.
