A while back, I began incorporating my home design insights into my clothing style.
This mirrors how I approach room redesigns by gathering visual inspiration first.
I follow several fashion bloggers regularly, dedicating only a brief span each day to browsing their content.
It feels wonderful to benefit from their trend research and sales knowledge without doing all the groundwork myself!
I save images of looks I truly admire in my mind, such as this example:

I found this ensemble sweet, relaxed, and cozy, perfectly matching my desired aesthetic!
A hurdle in Canada is the difference in clothing retail options and resources compared to the States.
Consequently, I am always searching for comparable pieces locally.
Recently, a brief trip to Winners yielded a fantastic find; I discovered this complete outfit there.

While not an exact match, it shares several key features with the picture I was inspired by.

My search was for a breezy floral top and slim-fit jeans, and I found both.

Even though the top lacks the distinctive criss-cross detail from the inspiration, I appreciated its crocheted accents and the tie ropes with tassels.

The footwear is remarkably comfortable; I appreciate the back zip closure so tying is unnecessary each time.
