Save lots of time with this simple gift-wrapping idea and free printable Christmas gift tags.
My grandma was a master gift wrapper.
If there had been an award for precise gift wrapping and creative ribbons & bows, she would have been an Olympic champion.
As a little girl, I loved watching her wrap gifts…

Her first step was making sure the paper pattern lined up “seamlessly,” hiding the join perfectly on the back with double-sided tape.
Sadly, I didn’t inherit even a little bit of her gift-wrapping passion…
Want to know my “I’m too impatient to wrap gifts like that” solution?
Gift bags.
I keep a collection of them and reuse them year after year.
All I do is find free printable Christmas gift tags, print them on my home printer, punch a hole in the top, and tie them on with string.

Easy. Quick. Done.
I’m thrilled that after all these years, I’ve finally learned how to make my own free printables.
So today I have a little gift for you.
Free Printable Scandinavian-Inspired Christmas Gift Tags

These simple Scandinavian-inspired gift tags are free to print and use for all your gift wrapping.
I deliberately kept them mostly black and white.
That way they’ll go with just about any gift wrap!;)
I also think they look fantastic on a plain brown paper gift bag with white tissue, tied on with jute string.
So very Scandinavian, don’t you think!;)

- Cut the tags apart with a paper cutter or scissors.
- Punch a hole in the center top of each tag with a small hole punch.
- Thread baker’s twine, jute, or ribbon through each hole.
- Write who the gift is for and from. (I like an extra-fine marker for this.)
- Tie the tag onto the gift.
