Inside this post: Learn how to use these complimentary vintage truck printable tags to bring a simple, cozy farmhouse feel to your holiday presents!
My Mother possessed a Christmas wrapping hub well before Pinterest turned them into a trend.
It formed just as much a part of our rituals as Christmas dinner steam pudding and sugar cookies.
Her wrapping hub consisted of a substantial cardboard and wood chest featuring a detachable tray on the surface. Annually, she would trek to the rear of the guest room closet with its slanted ceiling to fetch it.
I’d perch on the mattress and observe as she extracted carefully arranged spools of ribbon, bows, tapes, wrapping paper, and tags.
That box of Christmas joy inspired me when I created these free printable red truck gift tags.
I crafted them so you can print them on your domestic printer and incorporate them into your personal wrapping station!

Apply the free vintage truck printable tags to infuse a hint of farmhouse charm into your holiday packages.
During the tag design process, I aimed for a cozy farmhouse aesthetic. The pairing of buffalo check, chalkboard, falling snow, and naturally – a classic vintage red pickup truck felt like the ideal combination.
Utilizing free printables is a straightforward procedure. Here is the process to obtain your printable tags:
- Input the secret code displayed on this screen.
- Select the “Vintage Truck Gift Tags”, and print them using your home computer. I prefer using lightweight card stock for tags of this nature. If you wish to preserve your home printer’s ink, you can always transfer the file to a USB drive and bring it to a printing facility such as Staples or Office Depot for printing.
- After printing, trim them out and create an opening at the top to thread ribbon. Alternatively, skip the hole and simply use adhesive to attach it to a parcel.
Streamline your gift wrapping by restricting choices to just a few different shades and designs.
Instead of feeling swamped by every possible option of wrapping paper and shades, why not narrow it down to just a few?
Here are several selections that would complement these Vintage Truck Printable Tags and enhance the farmhouse vibe:
- Natural (kraft) gift bags
- Kraft Paper wrap
- Red Buffalo Check paper
- Plaid paper
- Black Buffalo Check paper
Fasten these tags to packages and gifts using ribbon.
These printable tags provide a wonderful final detail to your gift wrapping; by piercing the top of each tag, you can thread ribbon or string through to secure it onto a wrapped package or gift bag handle. Furthermore, the reverse white area allows you to inscribe the sender and recipient details.
For an inviting farmhouse aesthetic, I recommend employing these specific types of ribbon:
- Baker’s twine, available in black, red, natural, or white
- Delicate jute twine
- Natural-toned “cooking string”
Alternative Ways to Use Vintage Truck Printables
You might choose to utilize these complimentary printables for purposes beyond just gifting; this is perfectly fine! Consider these other possibilities:
- Adorning the tree as decorative ornaments.
- Creating a Christmas garland by draping a rope over the mantel and affixing the printables with clothespins.
- Displaying them on a chicken wire message board using aged metal paper clips.
- Employing larger free printables, such as some found at this link, printing them onto iron on transfers, and crafting a pillow for a gift.
