How to Use Free Christmas Printable Wall Art in Your Home Decor
Once you’ve picked a free printable, follow the download and printing instructions provided.
For the best results, I suggest printing your wall art on cardstock, which is sturdier than regular printer paper. You will need these supplies (affiliate links):
- Home printer – Mine is the Canon TS5020
- White cardstock (heavier than standard printer paper)
If you’d prefer, you can have your prints made on cardstock at your favorite print shop.
Display your new printable art
Most printable art is sized to fit a 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 inch frame. You can simply print it and slip it into a frame.
You could also set your prints on decorative trays or barn wood slabs for a different look.
Many printable art pieces come in sets, which makes them perfect for a gallery wall. It’s a great way to fill large, empty walls in your home!
If you’ve never built a gallery wall before, these resources may help:
- A simple gallery wall hack that makes it easy to work out where the nails (or hangers) should go.

- Don’t be afraid to buy frames that have 2 hangers. Here’s how to hang pictures easily in drywall when the frame has 2 hangers on the back.
I almost always have printables hanging somewhere in my home. They add a pop of color, bring in seasonal decor, and help fill up a large empty wall.
