Following my recent tips on quick cleaning, I want to emphasize how vital it is to treat yourself as a reward for completing your tasks.
- Previously, I found great motivation watching the Nate Berkus program at 11 am; after finishing my chores, I would watch my friend Nate. However, the current network schedule shows his show at 7 am and 10 pm, so I see it less frequently now.
- A comforting serving of Moose Tracks ice cream alongside a warm cup of coffee sounds delightful, though I acknowledge it's not ideal for my figure.
- Alternatively, spending a short while arranging decorative items within the now neat and spotless areas is a wonderful treat.
Indeed, enjoying these little moments is a direct benefit of speed cleaning.
This occasion, I explored my garden for decorative accents, utilizing the newly flourishing plants.

Thankfully, we have successfully kept the deer from damaging the pink rose bush. (What a relief!)

I used a glass frog within a small square bowl, placing a single rose in each opening, with several extra blooms floating in a tiny vintage egg cup.

Positioning yellow pansies before a mirror introduces a bright touch of hue to the bookcase.

A small cluster of pansies in aged bottles (one being an aspirin bottle) provides a lovely contrast to the white shells on the coffee table tray.

For the Dining Room buffet top, I required something taller and more substantial, and various fern leaves achieved this perfectly.

I chose to bring our single, cherished peony inside to enjoy on the kitchen table; the accompanying red leaves are from an unidentified tree, but I adore their deep, rich red shade.
