Shifting From Winter to Early Spring Decor Ideas

Are you feeling the urge to shed winter decorations and welcome spring? I certainly am! On these overcast days, I often gaze at my bare garden boxes, imagining planting seeds.

I am also learning the value of appreciating each season uniquely. Winter offers a perfect time to pause, tackle home improvements, organize, and honor the season's gentle call to 'rest'.

Today, I'm excited to offer some initial Spring decorating suggestions to move past winter looks. Unlike my usual spring style, I feel inspired this year to maintain a neutral palette. You might enjoy my previous Touches Of Spring Farmhouse Tour or my DIY centerpiece planter box project. Previously, I favored blush-toned florals for my spring aesthetic. However, I am currently loving neutrals combined with subtle florals, and you might be surprised to learn I frequently use faux flowers in my styling! Here are some of my preferred floral accents:

Here are additional tips and concepts for early Spring decorating:
- Neutral decorative elements
- Adding various textures
- Artwork appropriate for the season
- Small indoor plants to introduce green
- Creating a snug feeling with quilts and throw pillows
- A bouquet, whether artificial or real
- Incorporating vintage or antique items that suit the time of year

This small wooden bowl has proven wonderful in our kitchen; we replenish it weekly with fresh produce.
