Selecting a single shade for our entrance area proved quite a challenge; I actually tested five shades before choosing White Down from Benjamin Moore.

Overall, I was pleased, though the primary wall shown in the table presented a slight issue because the lighting is weak, making it look somewhat dull unless the door opens to sunlight.
Since the day was overcast and rainy yesterday, around 5:30 PM, I resolved to brighten up that entryway wall.
Once the idea took hold, I committed to executing the change.
The light conditions weren't ideal for photography, but I am sharing the results regardless.

Rather than redoing the entire entryway, I chose to highlight just this wall; to coordinate two tones, I applied Polar Bear White (from Behr, a remnant from my craft room) to the lower 2/3, and then stenciled the upper section onto the White Down base.

This was my initial attempt at wall stenciling, and I suspect it might become a habit…

This is how the wall looked initially:

And this is its appearance this morning.

It's amazing how much more luminous it seems already; now I am eager to enhance its look further!
