Don’t get me wrong — I love a big shopping trip. I’m the person who hunts down bargains in home decor and enjoys browsing every aisle. But shopping for a new outfit? That has never been my favorite pastime.
I’ve watched friends and fellow bloggers in the United States make the most of clothing subscription services for years, wishing a similar service would come to Canada. I’m happy to report it has arrived: Frock Box is now available in Canada, and it brings a personal stylist experience to your doorstep.
What is Frock Box?
Frock Box is a monthly clothing subscription service that curates and ships clothing to Canadian customers based on a personalized style profile. Think of it as having a personal shopper who selects wardrobe pieces tailored to your tastes and sizes, then delivers them to your home so you can try everything on at your leisure.
How to get started with Frock Box
Signing up for Frock Box is straightforward. On their website you choose one of three packages and complete a short style questionnaire. The questionnaire asks about your sizes, preferred styles, and price range. You can even link a Pinterest board to give your stylist a clearer idea of the looks you love.
During my own experience, the process was smooth and pleasant. Each question is presented one at a time, making it easy to move through the form without feeling overwhelmed. Once you finish, the stylist team reviews your profile and assembles a box of items selected for you.
Pricing and packages
Each Frock Box package includes a styling fee; the exact price and benefits are detailed on the package descriptions. The “Favorites” package I selected has a $24.95 monthly styling fee and includes free shipping as well as free return shipping. When you receive your box, you can keep any items you love or return whatever you don’t want.
At the time of my sign-up there was an affiliate coupon code (HARBOURBREEZEHOME) that made the first month free. Note: this affiliate link has since expired.
What comes in the Favorites package?
The Favorites box is designed to introduce on-trend, wearable pieces that fit the style profile you provide. My box contained five items: jeans, a sleeveless top, a cardigan, a dress, and shoes. The mix was practical and styled in a cohesive way so I could easily imagine outfits.

Pricing of the clothing
When you complete your profile you can indicate whether you prefer lower-priced items or a mix of price ranges. The five pieces I received ranged roughly from $39 to $79 each. That range will vary by season and inventory, but you can control the general price tier through your preferences during sign-up.

Keeping or returning items
If you decide to keep everything in your box, your credit card will be charged for the total cost of the items minus the styling fee, and you’ll receive a 25% discount on the full purchase. If you keep only a single item, the styling fee is applied to that item’s cost. The system makes it simple to make the choice that makes sense for you.
Returning items is effortless: each package includes a pre-paid return label. Slip the unwanted pieces back into the mailer, attach the label, and drop it in the mail. There’s no need to hunt down a post office form or pay extra shipping; returns are included.
My impressions and tips
Overall, my Frock Box experience was enjoyable. The stylist picked a cohesive set of pieces that suited the profile I provided, and the convenience of trying on clothes at home made the process relaxed instead of rushed. If you try Frock Box, be as specific as possible in your style profile — include sizes, fit notes, and examples of looks you like (Pinterest boards are a helpful tool). Also think about how you typically wear your clothes: do you prefer classic, casual, or more polished pieces? That helps the stylist fine-tune selections to your lifestyle.

Need help or want to see more?
If you have questions about the service, Frock Box’s customer support can help via the contact options on their website or social media channels. I found their team to be helpful and friendly when I reached out with a question. If you’d like to see an unboxing, I shared a video of my Frock Box on Facebook where you can see exactly how the package arrives and what’s inside.

Frock Box makes refreshing your wardrobe simple and low-stress: a curated selection, flexible returns, and the chance to try pieces at home before you commit. If you’ve been curious about clothing subscriptions and live in Canada, it’s worth giving Frock Box a try for a personalized styling experience delivered to your door.
