We finalized the purchase of our first home on a Friday evening at a table.
The realtor confirmed that changing our minds was no longer an option.
We feel absolutely joyful and relieved about this decision, with no buyer's remorse whatsoever. Beyond the notary's final paperwork and financial steps, we are nearing the end of this lengthy journey.
The keys will be received on September 30th, allowing the moving preparations to begin.
My thoughts are currently scattered, focusing on packing, decluttering, and determining storage spots in the new residence.
Since the home is already quite charming, we won't need an immediate major renovation. Instead, we plan to incorporate personal details gradually as our budget permits. For now, I'm just dreaming, which costs nothing!
Although the new kitchen is modest compared to larger ones, it possesses many appealing qualities, which I adore. Nevertheless, a few affordable additions could elevate its appearance.
While browsing Pinterest and other blogs, I've noted small kitchen ideas and decided to start a series about what has captured my attention.

Today's focus is on tile; simple white tiles lend a sophisticated air to any kitchen, regardless of size. Here are some observations:

1. Pairing dark grout and black accents with a bright, white backdrop achieves a look that is both pristine and elegant, while the dark grout is simpler to maintain!

2. Extending the tile up to the ceiling makes a smaller area appear taller; incorporating open shelving enhances this feeling of spaciousness.
