I'm thoroughly enjoying the transformation of our Master Bedroom! If you missed the initial look, here is a glimpse of the space before this project began:

It was overwhelmingly beige, which felt quite dull, offering a perfect starting point. After much contemplation and reviewing inspiration photos, we tackled projects that made a significant difference without requiring a large financial outlay.
Observe the room's refreshed appearance now:

Even though we reside in a townhouse, my goal was to achieve a Modern Farmhouse aesthetic. The renovation commenced by painting the walls with Benjamin Moore's Simply White, while the accent wall received Sherwin Williams' Silver Strand paint.

Drawing inspiration from Joanna Gaines' Fixer Upper designs, I incorporated varied colors and textures using accessories and decor. The lovely bed pillows were a fortunate find at Winners and guided my selection of the room's color scheme.

The seemingly mismatched nightstands complemented the matching lamps and aged, tall window frames well, and they are crucial for the space's functionality!

A thrift store dresser, previously painted, received a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams' Alabaster paint, along with spray-painted handles. Topped with wooden and metal containers for small change, pocketknives, and flashlights, it serves as an ideal bedside table for my husband.

Introducing a chair into the empty corner added visual appeal and has become my favorite spot in the home!

We also painted the interior closet, which resulted in a noticeably brighter and fresher feel.

For those who appreciate seeing the complete before and after comparison, I have included side-by-side images:

We attempted to utilize the cedar chest at the foot of the bed, but after several minor injuries, we conceded and relocated it. The room feels considerably more open and comfortable without it.
My husband also installed a new light fixture that we sourced from our former residence.

I truly appreciate how this aligns with the Modern Farmhouse style.
We are extremely pleased with the outcome. Although further enhancements are planned when finances permit, for now, it evokes the feeling of a feature in Good (enough) Housekeeping magazine. It represents a substantial upgrade, feeling much more tranquil, all without overspending!
As this post is somewhat lengthy, I will return later with all the sourcing information for those interested.
Thank you for reading; please pose any questions, and I will answer to the best of my ability.
