Following my recent guide on crafting chalkboard-style wooden decorations, I want to present several additional choices for handmade wooden ornaments on Bildirimlerim.
Both approaches necessitate a template cut from 1/4 inch baltic birch plywood using a scroll saw.
Ornament Option One: Stenciled Motif

This decoration resembles the “joy” piece but is perfect if you wish to avoid hand-lettering; it uses a tiny flower stencil applied with a minimal amount of paint, featuring a metallic gold center dot. Any small stencil would work, perhaps a snowflake design.
The black and white coloring gives it a look reminiscent of the very popular chalkboard aesthetic.

Altering the color palette allows for personalization to match any theme or style you desire.
Ornament Option Two: Snowman Display

This ornament requires more intricate cutting, as it is formed from two layers that are painted and then adhered together.

I find painting these enjoyable and adding small fabric strips for a scarf detail. For easy simulated falling snow, moisten an old toothbrush, blot off excess water, dip into white acrylic paint, and then gently 'brush' downward with your thumb over the project—instant snow!
