I feel like I am trailing everyone else on Bildirimlerim when it comes to springtime decorations since so many wonderful creations have already appeared…
However, I finally retrieved my paints and managed to create something myself.
I have long admired the creative possibilities of Mason Jars, so I set aside our Classico pasta sauce jars specifically for crafting purposes.
Sarah from the Beach Cottage recently shared an enjoyable post about the charm of mason jars.

Additionally, Fox Hollow Cottage featured a delightful Spring Mantel, which incorporated mason jars alongside painted tin cans!

Merging these two concepts, I designed a Spring Centerpiece for our Dining Room.

The project began with a slender cupboard door that a friend kindly provided to me.

A touch of mistint aqua paint gave it a completely refreshed appearance, and a light application of white added a subtle patina.

While the aqua paint cured, I applied two coats of white latex house paint to some jars. I used a blow dry between coats, although achieving an even finish proved somewhat challenging. {Maybe I rushed the drying time between coats?}
After they were dry, I adorned the jars using pieces of burlap, white canvas, lace, ribbon, and jute.

The element resembling a flower is simply a knot with the ends neatly tucked underneath…

Since the garden flowers are only just beginning to sprout, I gathered some daffodils and yellow buds from a bush (I am uncertain of its name?) to fill the jars.

Should you choose to paint jars yourself, be aware that this painting technique does not result in a lasting finish; in fact, it will likely wash away with water…

Yet, this might be beneficial; if you dislike a specific shade, you can effortlessly alter it!
