Transform a regular dresser into a springtime display with this easy dresser styling inspired by a Pinterest image.
Where do you draw inspiration for home styling? When seeking a change, I often check sources like hgtv home decorating shows, magazines, home decor books (Amazon affiliate link), and Pinterest. If you are decorating affordably and searching for budget-friendly decor suggestions, you might also utilize existing items. For instance, west elm bookshelves offered ideas for styling shelves!
This retrospective post from when we lived in a prior residence shows how a Pinterest picture sparked a Spring dresser decoration using items already at home.
Perhaps this will help generate some fresh decorating concepts even with a limited budget.

I mentioned last week wanting to bring some Spring cheer indoors, especially since the Christmas wreath was still on our front door!
To figure out a quick and simple update, I looked at images I had saved on Pinterest (check my pins here). I save them specifically for future inspiration, and now I wanted to apply some of that vision.
This is the dresser I used; it resides in my office and had its 'winter look' since January:
While searching for ideas, I came across this photo from House by Hoff.
It immediately caught my attention because the dresser resembled mine. The aesthetic is clean and fresh—exactly what I needed! I adapted this concept using things I already possessed. Here is the result:
I desired a touch of cheerful color, so I incorporated the yellow bunting banner I crafted a few years ago.
I gathered small white buds just beginning to open from a bush in our yard. Soon, I plan to swap them for bright yellow ones that bloomed today!:)
Wrapping each clear vase with a bit of jute string adds visual texture and appeal without requiring much effort.
Have you begun adding Spring touches to your space yet? (This is possible even if snow remains on the ground!!:))
