My flight to Hawaii departs in precisely one week!
The excitement stems greatly from the upcoming journey; I checked the Maui weather, researched activities, sunscreen needs, and top restaurants.
I also researched what to pack, favoring a carry-on bag, and reviewed tips from others traveling to a “tropical” location.
Previously, someone mentioned the hidden expense of such a vacation is that “your wife will need a new wardrobe!”…
Consequently, I aimed to avoid becoming one of those women…
However, my existing summer attire—brown capri pants, black dress shorts, and summer tops—felt too heavy for the destination.
Shopping for clothes is not my strength; I decide instantly in a home decor store but feel lost in a clothing store.
My sister-in-law helped when she visited during the Christmas holidays, and I discovered her enjoyment in assisting women with clothing selections.
I desperately need her assistance!
In Calgary, I asked her to help select my “Hawaii wardrobe”; she and my niece dedicated time to shopping with me.
It was ABSOLUTELY FUN!!!

The best part? All these lovely items cost only $75!! We only stopped at one place that day~
