Occasionally, I feel the urge to brighten up my surroundings; I affectionately call this process “floofing”.
Recently, while preparing the house for lovely visitors, the sunlight pouring through the windows made the dark candles and wrought iron accents appear somewhat too weighty for the day. While I swiftly dusted and vacuumed, I moved aside all the darker items, selecting instead bright, fresh-looking white pieces nearby.
Small white pitchers from the bookshelf were repurposed as vases holding just two single carnations.

My preferred coffee table styling involves a tidy stack of periodicals crowned with an engaging item.

Three solitary Granny Smith apples achieved an artistic quality when placed in a vase near the lamp.

My son's Mother’s Day arrangement of mums is a lovely purple-pink hue, looking wonderful against the blue-gray wall.

This concludes the 5 minute Living Room “Floof”!
