A Wonderful Achievement

Our second son completed graduation on Saturday; it remains a surprising moment. The weather was ideal, and the day proceeded smoothly without major issues.
Following the demonstration of decorating the school gym in an “Old England” style for the graduation celebration, I wanted to share the final photographs.

The sparkling lights made the setting quite lovely.

A designated spot was created for family portraits with the graduates.

We also ensured adequate coverage and protection...

The table centerpieces featured photos of the graduates, helping each family locate their seating.

The washroom doors were thoughtfully concealed to match the theme.

One graduate and her father constructed an attractive phone booth to enhance the area's appeal.

I believe the result was stunning.

The punch station remained a popular spot throughout the extended evening...

Perhaps you feel similarly, but I recall little from my own graduation speaker. However, Joel's event taught me something vital; the speaker was one of our boys' favored instructors.

He advised, “Embrace extremes.”
“Choose to be warm orcool.”
He elaborated that “warm” resembles a tranquil, restorative hot spring, while “cool” is akin to a pristine, revitalizing mountain spring.
Let our deeds and speech be restorative or invigorating...
I appreciate this concept...
