This content lingered in my drafts for several days initially titled "Two Entryway Styles"
I realize I anticipated the season prematurely as the weather outside my front door today shows:

Our son is very pleased about the school snow day.
Therefore, we should discard the "Spring" notion and simply call this a balanced display!

Now let's proceed with the usual post!

Even though the bathroom renovation is ongoing, the progress is quite slow; waiting a minimum of 24 hours between paint coats is testing my patience!
Consequently, while awaiting that drying time, I decided to focus on other projects.
I particularly enjoy styling the entryway dresser in our home, treating it much like others decorate their fireplace mantels. Instead of seasonal changes, I prefer to refresh the display on and above the dresser, always seeking simple setups and saving them to my Pinterest board for later inspiration.
This time, my inspiration came from uncomplicated styles featuring black picture frames; here is how the initial arrangement was put together:

The Norman Rockwell prints were previously in my kitchen, and the framed Marriage License was displayed in the living room.

Those white pitchers were acquired at a great price from Walmart and prove to be my most adaptable decorative piece, looking appropriate everywhere!

Despite appreciating the look and simplicity, I recognized that ~in practical terms~ it wouldn't work well; the picture above shows the corner is typically dim, even when I took it with the door wide open during a downpour.
Thus, I needed to modify the setup by incorporating a lamp, leading to look #2:

Though I miss the lovely pitchers and foliage, the lamp provides the necessary functionality for this space.

I trust everyone is enjoying their day…
regardless of whether your area has rain, snow, or sunshine!
