My sister-in-law mentioned a severe snow event during a recent call, while I observed blooming daffodils outside my residence.
Three hours later, I looked out in surprise to see heavy snowflakes descending upon those daffodils.
This weather pattern is quite unusual.
The last three days have presented a mix of frost, rain, hail, and snow,
and
splendid sunshine.
I enjoyed soaking up the light.
This experience spurred me into action.
I noticed dust bunnies floating around and decided to tackle them; frequent vacuuming and mopping result in a wonderfully 'floofy' room, which I truly cherish.
After cleaning the floors and arranging the furniture, attention turned to the walls.
This picture provided the initial spark:

A lovely boat image was a recent gift; it is our initial original artwork, and our affection for it is profound. {The artist is a friend; view more of her remarkable work here.} It held significance from the outset, but the more I view it, the more I adore it... I felt it deserved a prominent spot in our home, somewhere frequently visible.
Consequently, it was placed in the living room.
Its bright hues inject considerable vitality.
The yellow, in particular.
Greetings, yellow.

It has become the accent shade I am currently desiring, so I collected every available yellow item...

...and a renewed, fresh Spring aesthetic emerged in the area.

It gives the impression of a small Spring celebration, even if snow might still fall outside!
Even though it still might snow outside!
