As the One Room Challenge Living & Dining Room project neared completion, thoughts naturally turned to the approaching Christmas season, aiming to maintain a Modern Industrial Farmhouse aesthetic.
Initially, I considered purchasing entirely new decorations; fortunately, contemplating avoids any financial outlay! I visited a local Christmas fair on a dark, rainy evening, finding much inspiration, yet ultimately purchased nothing.
Instead of incurring significant expense on full-priced items, I chose to enhance my existing belongings, beginning the transformation in the Dining Room.
The damp, rainy weather typical of the Wet West Coast inspired a desire for subtle twinkling lights, so a garland adorned the curtain rod, featuring white snowflakes, ribbon, and gold and silver Christmas ornaments.

The combination of white and twinkle lights beautifully contrasts with the Iron Mountain wall color.

After hesitating due to the cost of artificial Christmas trees, we secured one for the affordable price of $39.95, as our townhouse strata mandates a fake tree, which was new for us!

Setting it up was simple; we placed it next to the buffet, topping it with a flour sack and burlap star, and decorating with gold & bronzey ornaments, DIY paper stars, and pinecones.

I also incorporated scattered snowcovered greenery picks to enhance the fullness and visual appeal.

Though I cherish my botanical prints, I substituted them with Christmas printables sourced from these locations: here, here, and here.

Utilizing free printables is my favorite budget-friendly seasonal decorating tip; I even demonstrated this transition via a Facebook live video.

The table centerpiece features an antique pitcher and sugar bowl, ready for fresh flowers when hosting a Christmas gathering, while an old sewing machine drawer on the buffet holds sparkly silver ornaments.

Since we host a weekly group of 12 from our church and plan several Christmas events, these understated decorations add holiday charm without crowding space for our expected guests.

This represents my charming and straightforward Christmas Farmhouse decor for the Dining Room this year.
Since it is Thanksgiving day in the States, I extend my sincere THANKS for reading this short Bildirimlerim post; your encouragement and participation in this journey to find daily beauty mean so much.
