Bildirimlerim is presenting a tour of the entire large room, which is fully prepared for the Christmas season, expanding on the Christmas Dining Room shared recently.

I updated the accent rug with a new black and cream striped one, which I acquired at the same time.

During the One Room Challenge, I began envisioning a festive palette featuring black, white, and gold for Christmas.
The billy bookcases served as an ideal spot to incorporate some seasonal decorations.

Used books are strategically placed throughout to create varying item heights and enhance visual appeal.

Small ornaments gifted to our boys by my mother are distributed across the space.

A wreath brought a festive glow to the aged window on the wall.

A side table features a Christmas accent provided by an enamelware bowl brimming with antique ornaments.

Because daylight is often scarce this time of year, these images were captured at 1:00 in the afternoon, requiring all room lights to be on for adequate brightness; we are enjoying candles immensely, frequently lighting them on the coffee table to burn through the evening, and sometimes even during the day.

After many years with a wood stove, perhaps it's psychological, but there is a distinct comfort in having a small fire lit.
This concludes my brief tour of the Living Room for Christmas.
