After completing my small craft room in the basement, a dear friend stopped by for a coffee chat.
She inquired, “Would you possibly be my first client for help with my basement?” {What a courageous woman! I've never had a client before!}
I immediately agreed to her request.
Organizing is something I truly enjoy; some view it as slightly obsessive, but for me, bringing order to disorder is a great pleasure.
We met this week to map out a strategy and have already begun the work.
The Challenge:
Due to her demanding schedule—full-time employment, community and church volunteering, and weekly hosting—she has minimal time for “Project Organization.” With a son's wedding this summer, she wishes her home to look wonderful for traveling family.
Our Strategy:
We agreed to tackle the main basement room initially and proceed as our schedules permit.
Curious to see our progress? {Aside from lots of laughter and enjoying coke and coffee?…}
Here is how the primary basement area appeared yesterday morning ~

And here is the view today at 1:00:

(Please don't think your vision is failing; my photo is a bit unclear. Apologies!)
The seating space prior to the work:

And the seating space following the work:

We haven't addressed the decor yet, but I've been gathering ideas on Pinterest, which is incredibly enjoyable; I can't wait to continue…
I understand some might find this unusual…
{Furthermore, my “client” approved sharing these pictures and even encouraged it.}
