Helpful Tips When Making This Recipe

  • For the juiciest chicken, let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).
  • If grilling, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor—bottled juice won’t have the same brightness.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Place chicken breasts in a zip-top bag. Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour them over the chicken. Seal the bag and squeeze it to coat the chicken well. It may seem like a small amount of marinade, but it works well!
  2. Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes so the flavors can soak in. The longer it marinates, the more flavorful it will be. (Marinate for up to 24 hours.)
  3. Place the chicken in a baking dish and bake uncovered in a 400-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Flip the chicken and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Serve with your favorite side.
