Throw Pillows & Covers: Easy Style Swaps with Big Impact
If you like refreshing your space with the seasons (or whenever inspiration hits!), throw pillow covers are your best friend. I especially love them in our smaller home because they’re easy to store, simple to swap out, and make a big difference in how a room looks and feels. These covers come in two types of fabric: thick, heavyweight cottons with sturdy zippers, and lightweight, breathable linens for a fresh, airy look in warmer weather. Here are some favorites.
Feather Down Throw Pillow Insert
Let’s start with the best base layer: the glorious down inserts. I know down costs a bit more than synthetic filling, but oh my stars… the comfort, the fluff, the coziness! They’re absolutely worth the investment.
They make every pillow feel more luxurious and lived-in. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your inserts, now is the time.
Natural Pinstripe Pillow Cover
This is one of my all-time favorite pillow covers. A natural pinstripe feels vintage and warm, and the fabric is nice and thick with a sturdy zipper. Mine has held up beautifully for quite a while (just don’t leave it out in the sun like I did; lesson learned!).
It pairs perfectly with so many other patterns. A true cozy classic.
Cotton Floral Pillow Cover
This one is a best seller for a reason! Like the natural pinstripe cover, this vintage-inspired brown floral pairs so well with other designs, and I love its thick fabric and sturdy zipper.

Multi-Floral Linen Pillow Cover
If you love the breezy look of linen, this thinner multi-floral linen cover is absolutely darling. It feels light and fresh but still has the vintage charm this shop is known for. I love mixing it with the brown gingham linen; the textures and colors play so well together!
Gingham Linen Pillow Cover
You know I can’t resist a good gingham. This linen brown gingham cover is a classic, perfect for year-round layering, especially in fall or spring. It’s soft, timeless and looks adorable with the florals too. There is also an all-new prairie collection (in brown and olive) that’s perfect for fall!
**Organization Tip: I fold and store my throw pillow covers in the beautiful bags the bedding comes in! It keeps them organized and looks pretty, too.
Bedding: The Cozy Foundation for a Great Night’s Sleep
I love a wonderful set of sheets to slip into after a long day, and I DON’T like the kind that make me feel hot! We’ve been using these linen sheets on our bed for a year now, and we still love them. They’re a lovely cotton-linen blend, so they breathe well and feel luxurious!

This beautiful cotton-linen sheet set has lovely stitching details on the pillowcases and flat sheet. I adore that thoughtful touch; it reminds me of the vintage embroidered pieces my Grandma used to have!
Duvet Set Details
If you love a duvet on your bed, this one is a beauty! Made from the same fabric as the sheet set, it has lovely wood-colored buttons at the ends that I adore!
