FAQs about Strawberry Pie
“Can I use frozen strawberries for strawberry pie?” Fresh strawberries give the best results for this recipe since they hold their shape beautifully in the jello glaze. Frozen strawberries tend to release too much liquid and can make the filling watery. Stick with fresh for this one — you won’t regret it!
“How long does strawberry pie with jello last in the fridge?” This pie keeps beautifully in the refrigerator for up to 3 days covered with plastic wrap. I wouldn’t recommend freezing it as the texture of the glaze changes. It honestly never lasts that long around here anyway — tee hee!
