The day before, I shared some snapshots capturing the initial stages of our son’s graduation class banquet decorations. If you happened to miss that post, it would be worthwhile to take a look at the process of hanging string lights in a gymnasium here..
I posed a challenge for you to identify the theme. One of you nailed it immediately!
The theme is Old England!

Back in September, the Graduating Class made their choice regarding the theme, and they even sketched out a layout of their concepts. It has been fascinating to observe how all the components of the puzzle are aligning. While the entire space is not quite finished yet, a significant portion of it is complete.

Over the course of the year, the students have been constructing some of the bigger elements, such as London Bridge and Big Ben. Additional structures are set to be introduced.
The graduating students will have their own designated head table.

I am particularly fond of the tissue paper flowers that my friend Lori crafted.

Aren't they fantastic?
The students also put in a lot of effort painting a massive mural intended to hang behind their table.

The atmosphere is incredibly vibrant and cheerful. (Hmm… I find myself wondering what their plans are for it afterward? Some of those scenes would look wonderful framed and displayed in a living room!)

All of the guests' tables have been given specific names, so upon arrival, they will know exactly which table to seek out.

It is genuinely enjoyable to witness the progression. My goal was to capture a photo of all the individuals who have been putting in considerable effort, but since they operate on different schedules, I simply took a quick snapshot of those present before yesterday's lunch.

The couple positioned in the center (wearing a red shirt and a blue shirt) are the ones maintaining organization with this decorating project. A huge thank you to everyone for their hard work. I have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with you!!
And, sincere appreciation to all the parents and students who are not featured in the photo as well. The entire process becomes significantly simpler and faster when there are numerous happy, willing hands assisting!
