Welcome friends to a look inside our townhouse's living and dining area, styled with relaxed boho fall accents, perfectly ready for cooler weather.

A cherished habit in home upkeep for me is refreshing the house each time a new season arrives.
I have discovered through experience that seasonal changes in the home do not require purchasing numerous new, trendy items.
In fact, over time, I gravitate toward consistent decor styles and have gathered beloved pieces to use across different seasons.
Long-time readers of this blog will likely recognize the decor featured in this small fall tour; it is simply arranged in a fresh, new manner!
Please come inside, and I will guide you through the space!

Simple Ways to Make Your Space Cozy with Fall Decor
- Replace your couch cushion covers – while a sofa full of decorative pillows looks lovely, we find that only 2 remain on the couch when actually sitting! Thus, I swapped my Spring floral covers for a fall print, utilizing the faux leather pillow covers I crafted a few years ago. (My husband created the floating frame for canvas art above the sofa.)

- Incorporate candles. Although the day I decided to prepare the house for fall was bright, we anticipate rainy, gray skies soon. On such dim days, having candles ready offers delightful, cozy comfort.

- Real and faux greenery is always a winner! I enjoy updating the decor on the farmhouse shelves in our dining area. This time, I kept it very simple with vintage art, a few faux pumpkins, and actual plants. The antique buffet is a family heirloom and my favorite piece of furniture in the entire house.

- Arrange a simple fall dining setting. Because our dining table is in the main living area, I prefer to set it with a tablecloth and an uncomplicated centerpiece. (See this other simple boho Fall tablescape here.)

- Gather flowers and greenery from your yard. Bringing the outdoors in is perfect right now. Floral or branch arrangements from your garden, placed in unique containers, can serve as beautiful, free decor!

- Infuse your home's character by showcasing cherished items on bookshelves. I am always surprised how differently these bookshelves appear with the exact same objects for various seasons! This time, I exchanged my white pitchers and decor for wood and black pieces, finding the result feels warmer and cozier for this new season.
