Simple DIY Flower Displays from Local Blooms

While weekly flower purchases are lovely, they might strain the budget; checking the grocery store's fresh flower selection for deals is a smart approach for Bildirimlerim.

I was absolutely delighted upon returning home the day before Valentine’s Day to see this display on my kitchen table:

A bouquet of grocery store flowers in a big pitcher.

Initially, I pondered where to place such a large arrangement, until I realized I could have fresh blooms in every room of the house!

Simple Tips for Floral Arrangements

1. Decide on the desired flower color.

I sorted the flowers by color and variety, selecting hues that complemented each room in our residence.

2. Select containers that harmonize with both the flowers and the intended room.

The white blooms were placed in charming painted jars, set upon a wooden tray alongside some pink pompom garland.

The relaxed aesthetic of the painted mason jars perfectly suited the white frilly flowers.

3. Utilize narrow-mouthed flower vases for smaller groupings.

The pink carnations fit into a tall painted jar, offering a nice contrast against the blue wall in the main bathroom.

4. Greenery serves as either a complement to the flowers or as a standalone piece.

With an abundance of lovely greenery, some was placed in a pitcher and now rests on a kitchen shelf.

5. A sizable flower can stand alone for a striking visual effect.

6. Explore unique items for use as flower vessels.

Keep an eye out at garage sales and thrift stores for vintage bowls and pitchers perfect for holding flowers.

7. Incorporate small flower groupings into bookshelf decor, enhancing the display by resting them on a stack of books.
