Several months ago, I connected with a wonderful blogging acquaintance, Shauna from Satori Design for Living, a Canadian writer based in Calgary, AB. Her site showcases lovely visuals, sensible suggestions, and engaging craft endeavors.
She recently inquired if any bloggers were interested in joining a Design Challenge, and despite initial uncertainty about the concept, I agreed to participate.
The task she provided proved enjoyable, and I also uncovered a very useful digital design application.
Shauna presented me with three distinct headboard options:

My requirement was to select one and style an entire room around it; I published my final design as a guest post on her blog today, which was great fun!
The hurdle I faced was locating an online program to function as a 'virtual designer'!
The solution was Olioboard.

Be warned: this tool might become quite captivating! {tee hee}
Olioboard offers a complimentary online resource; registration is necessary, meaning you must recall another password for later access, but after setup, you are ready to begin.
I started by viewing this incredibly helpful video tutorial:
Olioboard features a vast array of home decor elements organized into categories on the right side. To place something you favor, simply drag and drop it onto the empty canvas on the left.

Furthermore, you possess the option to incorporate specific items sourced elsewhere online.
I gathered some examples from Olioboard today; rooms can be rendered with an almost 3-D appearance,
or you can arrange a curated assortment of pieces like this:
Discovering the pleasure of designing a room without any financial constraints was delightful! (It also revealed my rather high standards. Ha ha!) Visit Satori Design for Living to view my {Dream} Beach Cottage Bling Bedroom.
{P.S. This post is not sponsored; Olioboard did not compensate me for praising their fantastic website… I genuinely appreciate it!}
