Small Master Bedroom Closet Refresh Reveal
A look at the closet's appearance prior to its swift update

Our townhouse master bedroom has a rather simple look; notably, it is one of the initial residences where the closet possesses a door!
The initial step for this small closet overhaul involved completely clearing its contents.

Removing all items and the existing shelving was a task in itself; I discovered that painting a closet is a powerful motivator for decluttering old garments!
In my ideal scenario, I envisioned decorating this closet with vibrant wallpaper and bespoke shelving units…
That vision might materialize eventually, but presently, my goal was to revitalize this area and ensure it functions practically for us.
Apply a new layer of paint
Since it was empty, it presented the ideal moment to apply a fresh coat of paint using the remaining Silver Strand paint…

Indeed…significantly improved!
Determine your organizational requirements and incorporate suitable arrangements.
Subsequently, I reinstated the original shelves and hanging bars, supplementing them with some of our own furnishings…

Placing a mirror on the rear wall introduces brightness and a touch of shimmer.

The lower bar serves as a superb spot for hanging belts, ties, and necklaces.

I acquired this from the Ikea as is section years ago for $1.50, and wasn't entirely certain of its intended use… so, I adapted it.;)
Compact bookshelves prove effective for managing a small closet space.
My preferred element is the shelving unit situated in the corner on my side.

It is an aged bookcase from my mother that I painted last year with chalk paint; it perfectly accommodates stacks of shirts and scarves, and the top is ideal for displaying my jewelry.

Utilize shelves to stack footwear and conserve space.
Our shoes (a modest collection, I must admit) fit beneath the clothing on my husband’s side.

It feels renewed and clean, and operates very effectively for our needs.

Perhaps in the future, we will adorn it with wallpaper and a chandelier for extra flair…
