I enjoy reading content about web and blog aesthetics; many emphasize establishing a distinct site identity through a logo, header, and typography.
I grasp this concept completely.
However, I tend to become weary of it.
Occasionally, I feel the need to introduce some novelty around my space, much like my constant urge to reorder furniture and wall hangings.
Consider the header; several months ago, I spent many hours crafting this design:

But recently, it no longer suited my taste, prompting a small adjustment.
Please excuse it if it appears less 'distinct' now, yet rest assured, it remains my style, just with a minor visual refresh.
This is my Bildirimlerim blog, not me.
I wish I could claim a slight change in appearance, perhaps losing 20 pounds…
But no, that transformation belongs to my husband.
I am genuinely pleased for him.
{Though a small pang of envy surfaces…}

Forgive my tangent; let us return to blog design.
While researching blog design for hours, I found a valuable aid for WordPress Thesis users, myself included.
Allow me to present Jupiter Jim.
Jupiter Jim offers excellent video guides covering various WordPress Thesis topics; his explanations are lucid, giving me the confidence to implement that {intimidating!} CSS code.
Some might find it trivial, but others relate to my two-hour battle centering the navigation menu beneath the header; finding the right solution to my blog design puzzles brings me immense joy.
I aimed for more, but my tired eyes require a break from the computer for now.
{P.S. WordPress Thesis users, share your customization resources; I will review them when my blog design enthusiasm returns.}
