Easy Christmas Craft: Winter Wonderland Ornament

Sometimes I enjoy pulling out my craft supplies and coming up with a simple project for the season. That is how this Christmas tree ornament craft was born.

This little ornament would look perfect on your Christmas tree or tied onto a gift. It’s an easy project for all ages, so if you need to teach a Christmas craft to kids (or adults), this could be just what you’re looking for!

Simple Christmas Craft ~ Winter Wonderland Ornament

It’s simple to make and needs only a few supplies, all of which you can find at a dollar store!

Supplies Needed:

fake greenery (small enough to squeeze through the neck of the ornament, such as leaves and tiny berries)
fillable, clear ornament
ribbon in the color of your choice
fake snow
hot glue gun and glue sticks

How to Assemble a Winter Wonderland Ornament:

Gently pull the top cap off the ornament and set it aside.

Fill the ornament about one-third full of fake snow. To keep things tidy, lay a sheet of paper on the table under the ornament and pour the snow in from a glass measuring cup with a spout. It gets messy, but the paper catches the snow that spills. When you have enough, fold the paper in half and pour the snow back into its bag.

Snip off a small bunch of fake greenery and carefully slide it, stem first, into the neck of the ornament. Hold onto the end and trim it to the length you want it to hang.

Use hot glue to attach the greenery stem to the neck of the ornament.

Press the cap back on by squeezing the wires inward and pushing down.

Glue ribbon around the top of the ornament and attach a hanger.

Ta da! You did it! :)
