Simple instructions for a quick, no-sew face covering using a dense Norwex window cloth
I never imagined I would be sharing a DIY face mask tutorial on Bildirimlerim! However, like many readers, I needed to create one today, and I was delighted to find this fast and straightforward approach!
This technique works with various fabrics, but I personally rely on Norwex cloths and items in my daily life. Having used them for years, I am very pleased with the outcomes. They not only streamline cleaning, making it simpler, faster, and less costly, but they also allowed me to remove harsh chemicals from my home!

Notice: I function as a Norwex Independent Consultant.
Recently, I noted the CDC's guidance advising cloth face coverings in public given the current global circumstances. (The CDC's complete article about homemade cloth face coverings is available here.)
A few hours later, Norwex announced the start of personal use face mask production, with availability pending a specific date. I was very excited!

These masks are being manufactured from their window cloth material, which is notably dense and incorporates their integrated Baclock system.
Truthfully, I want one too! But they have already warned that initial demand will significantly surpass their initial supply capacity.
I am compiling a list for interested individuals to receive alerts when these masks are purchasable. Should you wish to join this list for prompt notification, please use the form below, and I will email you immediately upon learning more!

Meanwhile, I discovered an exceptionally easy DIY method!
I have created a brief video demonstration, or you can follow the step-by-step directions provided below.
Alternatively, to create 3 individual face masks, divide each cloth into 3 equal segments. (Cutting the cloth results in a lighter and cooler mask.)
**Update: Further testing suggests cutting the cloth into multiple pieces improves breath-ability. For a detailed video and written guide on this process, click here. **

2. Place a rubber band or hair tie around both edges, ensuring it stops near one-third of the fabric's length.
This creates a central 'cup' shape designed to cover your mouth and nose.

3. Bring each end inward toward the middle.
Present the mask to your face, position the 'cup' over your nose and mouth, and secure the rubber bands around your ears.

Success! It was quite simple, wasn't it…
