I love finding creative ways to make the table feel special, like folding napkins into Christmas trees, napkin pockets, or place settings that look like wrapped wooden gifts.

This year, though, pictures of simple Scandinavian style inspired me once again.

This table setting is so easy that you might think it isn’t enough.

Trust me, though, it’s amazing!

This table setting is mostly white on white on white…

Add a splash of greenery and a fun place card on top.

Here’s how to pull it off in no time flat.

Start with a white tablecloth. If you don’t have one, a flat white sheet works just as well.
Set out white dinner plates with white salad plates stacked on top.
Lay a napkin on the top plate.
Top it with an 18 inch piece of faux garland twisted into a circle.
Finish with a printable place card bearing each guest’s name.
A wood slice under the glass adds a nice natural touch that fits Scandinavian style.
For the centerpiece, try a lovely grouping of white candles.
